Firas Taibeh was born in Libya. He studied directing and cinematography at the “Red Sea Institue of Cinematic Arts” in Aqaba / Jordan. Before he came to filmmaking in 2007, he studied as a sculptor. Taibeh worked as a freelance producer, cinematographer, actor and director in numerous Jordanian productions. He is also co-founder of the first Jordanian Web TV Aramram. His film “An Invisible Face” won the award for “Best Short Film” at the 19th European Film Festival in Amman, 2007.
