Former president of Republic of South Africa Nelson Mandela celebrates his 95th birthday. The anniversary is an important celebration for South Africa because this the African-American politic significantly contributed to the fall of the racist regime. Mendela is not able to participate on the celebration, because he is in the hospital in Pretoria recovering from a serious lung infection.The United Nations has declared Thursday Nelson Mandela International Day.
