Inna Shevchenko is an activist and a leader of the women’s movement FEMEN. Created in 2008, Inna Shevchenko and her FEMEN peers fight for the self-determination of women. Under the maxim “Our God is woman, our mission is protest, our weapons are bare breasts!” the activists protest topless against what they perceive as manifestations of patriarchy, especially dictatorship, religion, and the sex industry.
