Pamela Brown is a writer, filmmaker and activist living in Brooklyn, NY. She holds her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Dartmouth College, and a Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School, where she is currently pursuing a doctorate in Sociology. She is a member of the Occupy Student Debt Campaign that has inspired a new movement to make American higher education a right. Pam’s current projects include a book on the relationship between neoliberal ideology, inequality and technological change, and a documentary about the power of how we remember African-American history. She is mainly involved in the Strike Debt campaign.
